An application was made on behalf of our client for the change of use of a first floor studio above a garage to provide a unit of holiday accommodation.

Our team was able to show that a unit of holiday accommodation in this location would not harm the character and appearance of the area, the amenities of the existing dwelling, or highway safety.

We identified the relevant policies that support the provision of holiday accommodation in a countryside location. There are clear economic benefits to the rural economy to be gained through the establishment of such a development in this location.
