We secured planning permission earlier in 2017 for a change of use of land from agricultural to equestrian including four stables and associated storage facilities and a 20 metre x 60 metre sand school. There were several conditions to be discharged relating to manure storage and disposal, landscaping, land and pasture management and ecological management. We employed an ecologist to prepare an Ecological Management and Enhancement Plan to demonstrate that there would be minimal impact on the resident Great Crested Newt population and that the proposal would create new habitats for wildlife. The Discharge of Conditions was granted and our client has now started building works before winter sets in.
