One of our clients has been granted planning permission for a new purpose built livestock and storage building in East Sussex.

The new building will be used to house cattle throughout the winter and allow the applicants to grow their farming enterprise with a new farming base on land which they own. Due to the site’s location in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Upper Rother Valley Landscape Character Area, a detailed level of landscaping was included in the proposals. The inclusion of solar panels, soakaway drainage and rainwater collection methods plus careful use of the site levels ensured that the building would not have an adverse effect on the surrounding countryside.
