Objection to a Planning Application for a Barn in Open Countryside

Planning

Date

Because we understand rural issues and policies, we were able to argue against allowing an unjustified rural building to be built in the open countryside. While we don’t want to stifle rural business, new buildings have to be carefully scrutinised to ensure they are justified and there is a real need for them. In this case it could not and there was no rural business associated with the land. It was also located in an AONB. A great decision for our client who lives opposite the site.
