Objection to planning application

We were delighted to represent the Sandhurst Village Action Group in making its objection against a planning application submitted to the council for the use of land for traveller accommodation.

We were able to argue that the development would cause significant harm to the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as to the character of the countryside and rural lane. We also highlighted to the council the very serious highway safety concerns our client had given the unsuitability of the lane to serve the proposed development.

The council agreed with our assessment and this week has refused planning permission.
