This application was made on behalf of our client to extend the internal track within the site to form a new vehicular access. Our client has a long-established equestrian business.

Their property is an enclave of four houses which was a historic farmyard group was split in 2001. All the properties and landowners use the existing access to the south of the application site.

The proposal was to extend the internal track by approximately 59 metres and create a new access into the road. By providing a new separate access, the residential amenity of the occupiers of the dwellings will be improved as well as providing a safe and easier access for the horse transporters connected to the equestrian business.

Our team were able to demonstrate that the proposal has no impact on the highway network, the existing highway is safe and meets national and local planning policy.
