At The RPP we particularly like a good equestrian development to get our teeth into so we were very pleased about the recent approval of an application made for a course of cross country jumps and associated landscape and biodiversity enhancements.

The site is in West Berkshire with a number of constraints. It lies in within a National Landscape and an area of potential archaeological interest.

With the help of Landscape Architect Nick Harper, Archaeologist Alistair Robertson and the Ecology team at Arbtech, we demonstrated that the development would not create an unacceptable visual impact on the NL, there was no adverse impact on the river Kennet, and it avoided any impact on the archaeological potential of the site.
