Successful Application for the Development of Four Dwellings in the Conservation Area

Local Planning Authority
West Oxfordshire Borough Council

An application was made on behalf of our client for the development of four bespoke houses, after making unsuccessful applications with another agent. Our team worked with the client for many years to get approval for a total of five houses on the site, having previously won an appeal for one house.

The site presented a few issues to sort through, including being located within a Conservation Area, Archaeological issues, Landscaping and having to deal with a new Planning Officer for each new application!

Not only did the team work with Border Oak Design to get permission for an attractive small development in this Oxfordshire village, but we also increased the land value considerably, to the delight of our client. Thank you to our Ecologist Austin Foot Ecology.

The council approved the application.
